#27: Why non-native English is more important than you think

We see a lot of schools, teachers and social media posts about American English vs. British English. As if there were only these two language variants in the world. This kind of approach to English learning is elitist and it excludes the majority of English speakers in today’s world: non-natives. This approach to English learning slows down your ability to communicate with different groups of people. It limits your fluency.
