Episode 42, Joe Beckett – Kinsbrook Vineyard

Joining me on the podcast today is Joe Beckett from Kinsbrook, a young, progressive vineyard in the heart of West Sussex wine country. At just 29, Joe remains one of the youngest vineyard owners in the country and, together with his partner Rebecca Dancer and an enthusiastic team, produces an exciting range of English wines from grapes grown on his third-generation family farmland, just outside Thakeham. At the top of the team’s agenda is to create an inclusive and sustainable lifestyle culture centred around wine, feel-good food and hospitality. This November saw the launch of Kinsbrook Farmhouse, a new restaurant and deli showcasing the best of local produce and, of course, Kinsbrook’s own wines. We talk about what made Joe, a rugby player and former self-confessed 'meat head' excited about viticulture, proving himself among wine critics and the many challenges of running a hospitality business.  To keep up to date with all things Kinsbook, visit kinsbrookvineyard.com and follow @kinsbrookvineyard on Instagram and Facebook.
