Forced to Shift Gears

In the word of Simpsons supervillain Hank Scorpio, "Can't argue with the little things, it's the little things that make up life." So many absolutely awesome things have happened recently that I can't even begin to name them all. But I've also realized that all of these things, both big and little, have been taking a toll on my physical and mental well-being. On top of that, I somehow managed to achieve injuries to both of my feet this year, which has forced me to change some of the ways I typically cope with stress. This is definitely more of a free-flowing discussion, but I really wanted to share it, and more importantly, I think there's something inherently relatable here that might be helpful to hear. We're all pretty good at recognizing negative stress, but it turns out positive stress can also have a negative impact on you. •Heres the video where I got my awesome bass: https://youtu.be/0CViAXBo-eI🎙This week’s mic:Rode Procaster (Sweetwater)•Send a voice, text, or video message to be included in a future episode!tom@enthusiasmproject.com or use the audio submission button at himynameistom.com!••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🎯Support the Show https://patreon.com/tombuckhttps://buymeacoffee.com/tombuck•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••📲 Connect!•All My Podcasts: https://himynameistom.com/podcasts•YouTube: www.youtube.com/tombuck•Twitter & IG: @sodarntom S7E02 | Series Episode 117Affiliate links mean I earn a commission from qualifying purchases.
