Ep 124: Own Your Accidental Leadership with Shea Smith

In this week’s episode I got to sit down with  speaker and leadership coach, Shea Smith.  She shares how while she struggled to embrace her role as a leader, she discovered how to empower herself and her team by celebrating wins, owning her role, checking her schedule and setting up support systems.   "You do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems. Your goal is the desired outcome. Your system is the collection of daily habits that get you there." -James Clear   Shea Smith is a speaker and leadership coach who helps female entrepreneurs use systems to simplify their life and business. She has been an entrepreneur for the past 10 years and has a passion for helping women own their authority and leadership.   Shea Smith was left feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to approach her new role as a leader, but she quickly learned how to take ownership of the role and create a system to support her growth. She started small, focusing on her weekly wins and setting up systems of support for herself and her team. With the practice of celebration, she was able to gain perspective and find success, no matter how small, in every aspect of her business. Shea's journey ultimately taught her the power of owning her role, setting up support, and celebrating her successes - all of which empowered her to become the strong leader she is today.   In this episode, you will learn the following:   1. How you owning your role as a leader help you move forward in your business. 2. What you can do to celebrate your successes and create momentum in your business. 3. How you can create a supportive environment and empower the people in your business to be leaders. Connect with us: We’d love to hear from you.
