Episode 71: Margaret Wishingrad on Creating a Healthy Food Brand

I am so excited to welcome Margaret Wishingrad, CEO and Co-Founder of Three Wishes Cereal, to the show today. She is sharing all about how she (with the help of her husband) created an amazing product and business because she couldn’t find what she wanted for her child- a cereal that wasn’t full of sugar and questionable ingredients. She set out to create a healthier alternative cereal- one that has more protein, less sugar, and is gluten and grain free. And she succeeded! She is of the mindset, if you can’t find it, then create it! Listen in to hear the journey of how she took an idea and turned it into a wonderful product and business. Margaret shares how they came up with the name (which is very meaningful!), the branding, and how they developed the actual product- in a healthy way! Oh and they did all of this while running another business, raising a child, and in the midst of the pandemic. In this episode, you will hear: -How and why she started the business and created this amazing product -The challenges and obstacles she had to overcome while creating her business -Why being persistent is key to reaching our goals and exceeding our dreams -What she wishes she had known before starting her business and advice for entrepreneurs Connect with Margaret: Website - https://www.threewishescereal.com Three Wishes Cereal is available at over 1000 different grocery stores throughout the US and online at Amazon, Thrive and through their website!
