#43 CryptoManRan: Crypto potential and the power of networks.

Welcome to the ‘How to be Moderately Successful’ podcast. I’m your host Mike Scott, and also the Co-Founder and CEO of Nona Digital. In this podcast we explore FinTech and the founders that power it. We look at how to build better FinTech products, better FinTech businesses and how to work on yourself to be more successful. Before I even begin I need to stipulate that nothing in this podcast constitutes financial advice and any investment decisions that you might make are your own and you should do your own research. A quick note: we are going to be rebranding the show soon to ‘The FinTech Founder Journey’ so just a heads up on that when you see your feed changing.Today I’m joined by Ran Neuner or as his 263k twitter followers and 326k YouTube subscribers know him, CryptomanRan. We’ll be discussing his journey from building and selling the largest sales and marketing agency in South Africa to becoming a global crypto influencer.Ran is a seriously impressive operator. He co-founded and built The Creative Counsel Group which was the largest sales and marketing agency in South Africa. The group was acquired by the Publicis Groupe in 2015, a deal that was at the time the largest acquisition transaction in Africa. In 2017 he launched the Crypto Trader which was the world's first televised cryptocurrency show featured on CNBC and now runs the YouTube channel Crypto Banter which is absolutely blowing up.He has been considered one of the 10 most influential people in blockchain and for good reason. In my mind Ran is one of the people that is doing real work to legitimise the space which is so necessary. Ran holds a degree in Finance as well as a CFA qualification, is razor sharp and brings an energy that is seemingly limitless.***If you are getting value from the podcast please show your support by doing two things:Give us a rating and a review. Om Podcasten

Building a business is hard. Maintaining healthy relationships with those that you care about is hard. Staying fit and healthy in your body, your mind and your emotions is hard. This podcast is about finding and sharing tools, strategies and experiences that may help you to achieve and maintain moderate success in your life, whatever that means to you. There is a ton of content created by the billionaires, the ultra successful athletes, and by people that are at a level that the vast majority of us will just never get to. And if you're anything like me, you're totally okay with that. This is a place where we talk about how to build a great business, but not necessarily a massive one. A place to talk about how we build a life that is balanced and integrated, but not necessarily optimised to levels that are not realistic for most of us. In short, it's a place where we explore how to be moderately successful. The work will always remain yours, and for the most part, it's simple, but not easy.I sincerely hope it's valuable to you.-MikeIf you want to talk about working with me get in touch on mike@smbmastery.com.au or https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikeadamscott/
