A Chat With Brady Hall

This time I am talking woodwork with my team-mate Brady, and much more besides:   - Fatherlessness and fatherhood - Trust and relationships in a successful team - Why Brady hasn't left and why I haven't quit (!) - The importance of asking questions - Personality and temperament - Some background on how Freebird got started and my first apprentice - The power of making a decision Plus the usual standard questions - shaker door, chunky shelf, etc!! See www.buymeacoffee.com/freebird for ever increasing extra content aimed at the thoughtful woodworker.  Including my member-only vlog series charting our business growth as we take on a big new workshop and machinery. Om Podcasten

I'm Alastair Johnson from Freebird Interiors on Youtube and in this podcast series due to start in February 2020 I'll be chatting with a wide range of other woodworkers, focusing mainly on fitted furniture manufacture and installation. I want to understand how and why they build things the way they do, including their choice of materials, tools and techniques. I also want to get under the skin of what motivates and inspires them, what led them to do this kind of work in the first place, what they love about it, what they hate about it, and what motivates them to keep doing it as a career.
