Defoe & Deeney Football Firsts: Going Abroad

Jermain and Troy discuss the first time they travelled abroad to play. They recall the best foreign stadiums, the worst trips they had, and what they did to quell the boredom of long pre-season tours in random towns and cities around the world. Troy recalls how one manager tried to make him lose so much weight that he ordered a staff member to go and buy him a Crunchy Nut and a bag of sweets, whilst Jermain muses on why, under Jacques Santini, he once played 13 pre-season games. They look back on the films they watched to kill time, laugh about how David Moyes ordered Jermain back onto a plane that had suffered engine failure, and Troy is amazed to discover that the rapper Drake called Jermain when he joined Toronto FC.

Kyle Walker returns with season 2 of his podcast but much has changed: a new club, a new league and a new country.

Join Kyle and his good mate, former Man City, Tottenham and Sheff Utd midfielder Michael Brown, as he takes us through life at one of the world's most historic and glamorous clubs: AC Milan.

He reveals the challenges as he adapts to La Dolce Vita in Italy, while continuing to discuss what it's like taking on some of the world's top players and teams at the very highest level. Can he help Milan return to the Champions League? How different is Serie A to the Premier League and will he learn to speak Italian?

Kyle will continue to give his thoughts on the latest football news from England and be joined by some of his good mates from his time in the game. This season, Kyle and Browny are also doing some special Q&A episodes. If you've ever wanted to ask an elite player a question about the game, about a footballer's life or what it's really like to come up against Messi, M'Bappe, Vinicius Jr and the rest, email KyleWalker@bbc.co.uk.
