Scott Harrison Is Hacking Dirty Water

Scott Harrison has a gravitas born of growing up too fast watching his beloved mother chronically suffer of carbon monoxide poisoning. Then, perhaps to reclaim his youth, as a 20-something club promoter in Manhattan he turned to a life of debauchery. Finally, forced to grapple with his self-destruction, he didn't just clean up his own circumstances, he started to clean up one of the planet's dirtiest problem: drinking water. He founded charity: water, an organization dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. Since 2006, charity: water's efforts have changed the lives of over seven million people in 24 countries with over 24 thousand projects funded.
