Guest: Liam Out Loud - Exploring The Role of Identity & Purpose In A Disconnected Society
In this week's episode of the Free Thought Project podcast, Jason and Don spoke with videographer, social commentator and philosopher Liam DeBoer, also known as LiamOutLoud. Liam explains his approach to making viral videos with Socratic questioning, while not being shy to question norms and dig deep for nuance. While the conversation explores social media censorship and current social issues such as the trans agenda, at the conversation's core we examined the perils of isolationism and the rampant disconnection we see in society. We asked if perhaps a lack of purpose has contributed to skyrocketing depression, suicide and mass shooting rates. It's not all doom and gloom, however as we shared stories of personal empowerment and solutions to bypass the dopamine loops most find themselves in.
