Jarl Berg is a longtime Telemark skier from the Pacific Northwest. He grew up working at Berg’s Ski Shop which his family has owned since 1955. It was there he learned how to tune skis, fit boots, and work in retail. During this time he was introduced to Telemark skiing during a demo at Mount Bachelor Ski Resort. He created an organized TeleFest at Hoodoo ski area for many years, which introduced many people from the area to the Telemark Turn. His most most recent endeavor is his new business, called Ski Bums Garage, which he recently started out of his home.
