After being born in the UK then growing up from six months old to 9 years through a war-torn Belfast, Stephen Gillen went through a traumatic care system and living in the East End became involved in organised crime ending up with a 17-year sentence as one of Britain's most dangerous prisoners. Changing his life, he has gone on to be a globally successful entrepreneur, is an awarded peace ambassador and in 2021 was nominated for an International Peace Prize. His book 'The Monkey Puzzle Tree" a biopic of his life story is a bestseller and has been optioned to be a major Hollywood movie.
