As manager of the Scotland women's team, Shelley Kerr led them to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in 2019. A former Scottish international, Shelley captained Scotland as well as clubs including Kilmarnock and Hibernian. During her playing career she won every domestic honour in Scotland and played in the UEFA Women's Cup.
