In episode 3 I make a confession - I used to prescribe glute exercises for everything! As I began to gain more experience, I had to deal with some really tricky injuries with a number of elite players at various professional clubs that I was working with, so I had to gain a deeper understanding of how the glute actually works in function.  In this episode I share with you my understanding of the glute max, and how it relies on a good co-contraction of the gastroc and hamstring with the quad to be successful. This is important for anyone who would like to return running, dead lifting in the gym, squatting and any other activity where you need good glute strength. Enjoy the show!
