S5 E6 Harry Garside on joy and pausing (bite-size)

Harry Garside is an Australian boxer. He competed in the men's lightweight event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, winning the bronze medal. This marked the first time an Australian medaled in boxing at the Olympics in over three decades!  In 2024, Harry hoped to win gold at the Tokyo Olympics but was knocked out of the competition early on. How Harry responded to this immediately after, and in the next 24 hours, won his fans' admiration worldwide. Harry is famous for defying gender stereotypes, often wearing nail polish and the occasional skirt. In this interview, the kids wanted to understand more about what brings Harry joy and how he thinks pausing before reacting might be helpful. This bite-size episode is a  pre-cursor to our final episode for this season: The Power of the Pause. Did you know that Grow Your Mind is a wellbeing program you can get into your school?
