Healing in a Collective with psychotherapist, Tanya Cole-Lesnick
We continue on our healing journey with our guest this week, Tanya Cole-Lesnick. Tanya is a licensed psychotherapist who runs hundreds of group therapy sessions helping people foster deep emotional growth so they can live their lives in peace and joy. She shares with us her story of how group therapy changed her life and completely altered the trajectory of her path. We discuss the topmost common false beliefs humans operate from and how these beliefs create experiences in our lives that are not aligned with our true selves, thus creating unnecessary suffering and discord. As humans, we are always longing for connection as we navigate this sometimes-harrowing human experience. In order to overcome the parts of us that keep us in alone and in suffering, we must question what we believe to be true and create space for something new to enter. Tanya's work "centers around helping clients achieve inner and outer alignment so that they may lead lives which honor their truest selves, which is not an easy feat. Our lives are impacted by many powerful factors: childhood conditioning, the culture we live in, the “rules” we follow, our inner critics, our relationships, our energy levels, etc. Through this process of group therapy, she helps her clients move towards the ultimate goal—to lead lives that light them up!" I hope this podcast inspires you to move towards a deeper connection with yourself and others and maybe begin to get curious about how healing in a collective can propel you towards living the way your heart deeply desires.
