E03: Dog Spit

This episode finally begins to address the main topic of this show: saliva. Gabriel reveals his use of basic conditioning to induce the audience to laughter. The pathos of Pavlov's dogs, he claims, is their inability to conceal their desire, which inevitably manifests in the form of salivation. The complex signification of human saliva, on the other hand, is introduced through a definition found in a 1930's surrealist magazine. Recorded in front of an audience at the Emily Harvey Foundation in New York. Music created live by Marina Miranda.
