The Woman in Black

Set in the late Victorian/early Edwardian time period, this film encapsulates the story of a ghostly figure that haunts a small english town. A horror/mystery film from 2012, The Woman in Black is a peculiar film that relies on its slow burning suspense and great acting to form an unsettling space throughout the picture. Based on a novel by Susan Hill with the same title, it stars actors such as Daniel Radcliffe & Ciaran Hinds. I vividly recall watching the trailer for the first time 10 years ago, and have been putting off watching the film since then. Oddly enough, I found myself repeatedly watching the trailer over and over again without playing the whole film...why? Why did it receive suhc mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike? What makes this film so different/unique from other films out there today? Listen now for all the answers to your burning questions! - Here's the website for the podcast!
