The Hard Work and the Heart Work in Lindsay Osmond’s Growth

Lindsay brings 20 years of expert subject matter experience as an integrated strategic human resources business partner. She is a passionate diversity and inclusion change agent and employee champion collaborator. Today Lindsay leads our leadership and management consulting practice as well as partnerships with strategic clients in our executive search practice.  Since joining Boyden, Lindsay has worked in multiple industries. In her previous role as Vice President of Human Resources and Head of Human Resources for Canada at a large multinational, U.S.-headquartered, publicly-traded organization. She was accountable for the enterprise portfolio, which included leading their human capital strategy, accountable for functional mergers & acquisitions, facilitating organizational efficiencies as well as leading the equity, diversity, and inclusion portfolio. Through her EDI accountability, she championed the business case to pivot the Indigenous relations mandate to comprehensive Indigenous relations and community engagement philosophy focused on connectedness between culture and business.  Lindsay has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Co-operative bachelor's degree in management and human resources from the University of Lethbridge. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified HR Professional - Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM – SCP). Additionally, she has further completed the Queen's Executive Education Certificate Program. She is active in the community as a guest lecturer with MacEwan University, Business Mentor with Threshold Impact Venture Mentoring Services as well as a co-chair for the EDI Advisory Board, Board Member for Women Building Futures, and the Chair of the Human Resources Committee. Lindsay has an absolutely amazing story of growing up early in the face of adversity. She has been through so much and has overcome the most challenging obstacles to achieve the goals in her life.
