Mike Pyle, CFA & Steve Curley, CFA: Restart, Revolution, & Resilience

Our guest today is Mike Pyle, CFA. Mike is the Global Chief Investment Strategist for BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. Prior to joining BlackRock, he served for five years at the center of President Obama's economic team. Our conversation hinges on the long-term themes he and his team discuss in the 2020 Mid Year Outlook, which cover the restart of activities post-COVID, the policy revolution we've witnessed in 2020, and why he expects countries and sectors will make comebacks as diversifiers going forward. He also reflects on the five years he spent at the center of President Obama's economic team, which gives him a unique perspective on the upcoming election and unprecedented fiscal and monetary stimulus we've seen this year.    Our local co-host is Steve Curley, CIO of WaterOak Advisors and President of the CFA Society of Orlando.  Please enjoy the episode.
