#5. Guest Ep: PCOS, Clomid, Treating A Tight Cervix, Endometrial Scratch + Egg Donors Abroad
We welcome couple Catherine and Paul to the show to talk about their IVF journey which dates back to 2011. From an initial diagnosis of PCOS and a course of Clomid to a failed HSG due to a tight cervix, Catherine and Paul go private to find out what's going on. Previous treatment for precancerous cells had caused scarring and with one blocked fallopian tube, IVF was advised as the way forward together with a range of procedures including an endometrial scratch and another to attempt to stretch her tight cervix to be able to transfer any viable embryos. After four failed IVF attempts, we find out how their tumultuous journey ended in travelling abroad to seek out an egg donor.
