69. Navigating Special Education & The IEP Process

There is a lot of stigma around Individualized Education Placement (IEP) and common misconceptions about special education, which is why the need to debunk these myths and rewrite these conversations is part of how we fulfill our purpose as millennial moms. Our access to resources is abundant, and our children need us to advocate for their needs now more than ever.  In this new episode, we talk about the basics of IEPs and Special Education and how crucial it is that parents involve themselves in advocating for their child’s education and, in turn, empowering them to advocate for themselves too.  Our children deserve the best, and we want to make sure they live in a world where they don’t have to tiptoe around anyone.  Want to send Dr. Amber a question or comment to feature on the podcast?
