Lucy Guo is an angel investor and is currently investing from her venture fund Backend Capital. She is the former co-founder of Scale AI, which accelerates its customers' AI development by democratizing access to intelligent data. Scale AI became worth over 1 billion in just 3 years, becoming one of Silicon Valley’s unicorns. Before Backend Capital and Scale, she was the first female product designer at Snapchat and also worked for Quora. She is a Forbes 30 under 30 recipient and Thiel Fellow. Lucy learned programming in second grade and has been creating websites since sixth grade. In her spare time, she used to create multiple apps which have reached over 10 million people worldwide.
