Seasonal Sounds #7: Summer
Seasonal Sounds is a seasonal programme which aims to do a sonic interpretation of the current (and coming) season - both in terms of pace, seasonal events and its characteristics. It combines a variety of musical genres, sonic textures and field recordings in a mix for the season. Seasonal Sounds #7 explores the thunderstorms that develop during the twilight of the short summer nights. When the atmosphere is unstable – When warm air exists underneath much colder air. It is here, in this very moment, an invisible border between reality and imagination appear – A thin translucent fabric waving in the air, shifting before you even notice. It may feel like a dream, a dejà vu in the heavy summer air. Take this thread and follow it into a sonic space filled with magic and mysticism.
