Trump’s South Africa Mistake

The Trump Administration’s policy to focus on white-Afrikaners by offering them refugee status in the United States, now supported by a bill just introduced into Congress, falls into the same  trap as the ANC does—understanding South Africa as a conflict between black and white.  Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein explains why framing South Africa’s problems as a black-vs-white conflict is not only inaccurate, but deeply damaging. Yes, white farmers face real threats. But black farmers do too. In fact, black South Africans suffer most from the government’s failures – from land expropriation without title, to stock theft, to failing services. South Africa’s crisis is not racial. It’s about valuesl. And the solution lies in a new alliance: built on shared values of faith, family, work, dignity, law and decency — values that unite black and white South Africans, and that align with the American founding vision. This is the message America needs to hear. #Trump #SouthAfrica #ChiefRabbi #WarrenGoldstein #LandExpropriation #SharedValues #BlackAndWhiteTogether #SApolitics #USforeignpolicy #ConservativeValues #StopRacialDivision #SouthAfricaUnite #Liberty #CivilRights #JewishLeadership #TorahAndPolitics
