Alysha Hanin left New Zealand for Miami, Florida in December 2001, but never returned, last seen leaving a hotel in South Miami Beach in January 2002, prompting questions about her disappearance possibly linked to her work as an escort, random violence, voluntary departure, or involvement of her recently broken-up boyfriend.
