Gill Moody & Carolyn Tate

The January morning after Carolyn Tate ended her marriage, she went straight to the beach with her best friend of 15 years, Gillian Moody. Almost exactly one year later, Gillian was completely blindsided by her husband leaving, and it was Carolyn she called in shock and confusion for guidance.   In FORTY, both women share what they learned about themselves, each other, and how they forged a new-look life – starting, oddly enough, with their respective toilets. (Don’t ask, just listen!)   Two very different divorce experiences later, Carolyn and Gill decided to launch Australia’s first divorce club, a ‘breakup triage’ program to link women struggling through the first stages of separation with professionals and support. And do you know which month is unofficially recognised as ‘Divorce Month’? Yep, it’s January – which is why we launch in 2022 with an interview to lay out the cold, hard facts with the warm honesty of ladies who’ve been there and bought the postcard in their forties.   CREDITS: Hosts: Lise Carlaw and Sarah Wills Guest: Gill Moody & Carolyn Tate (@champagnecartel) CONTACT: Email: hello@thosetwogirls.com.auInstagram: @liseandsarahFacebook: Those Two Girls  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
