Too Peas In A Pod

Mandy Hose and Kate Jones are the best kind of friends – women who’ve been by each other’s side through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows – and they’ve had their fair share since first bonding after giving birth to premmie twins with additional needs. In June 2019 – 13 years after meeting - Kate and Mandy threw their voices about parenting kids with disabilities into the big wide podcast world (@toopeaspod - which has since amassed more than 1.5 million downloads), and this year – between Victorian lockdown-life and home-schooling eight children – published their book, ‘The Invisible Life of Us’.  In FORTY, Kate and Mandy run the gamut from vulnerability and honesty to pure joy and hilarity – sharing tales from boob wrinkles to leaving their respective churches, surrendering to all-consuming motherhood, and how every single one of us has to get through tough times…and this may include haemorrhoids. So, what happens when you decide not to second-guess yourself? We find out in FORTY.
