Ep 96: State of the Fandom 2021
The High Republic has landed with all new projects, stories, and novels that bring positivity and excitement to the Star Wars fandom. Unfortunately, where there is joy, there is a fraction of the audience that is toxic and hurtful. We encourage our team and listeners to be uplifting and positive to our Star Wars friends and family that we love so much, but also to be respectful in any conversations where disagreements occur. The Youtini fan code is a great starting point in traversing the difficult voices of social media, and we stand against the hate that has cropped up in our community for far too long. Let’s start 2021 with a message of success, a message of solidarity, and a place of hope for others looking to take part in the Star Wars experience.
