The founders of Feel Good Club on their huge impact in Manchester
In 2020, Aimie and Kiera Lawlor-Skillen decided that their huge social media community, which focuses on mental health and wellbeing, just wasn't enough. They thought that Manchester city centre was in desperate need of somewhere people could go to unwind, speak about their issues, or just meet new friends. They were right. Feel Good Club, the wellbeing coffee house and bar in the Northern Quarter has created a community of positivity on Hilton Street and was a shoulder to cry on for many during the pandemic – a time in which the two wives fought to keep it open. With space for events, pop-up galleries featuring local artists, and break out spaces for the local community to connect, Feel Good Club is the first mental health & wellbeing led hospitality venue in Manchester. We're super proud of it, and so are Aimie and Kiera. They came on the podcast this week to discuss its short, but incredible history so far.
