Do We Value Our Kids’ Achievements Over Their Discipline?
Our culture socializes us to place more value on our kid’s achievements than on their character. This is revealed by what things--academics, sports, extra-curricular activities--take priority in our family life. And if we go along with the culture, it will ultimately undermine our discipline.
