Hey guy's , Hope your all well. Just sharing my latest techno set from a killer night with the Big Red Bus crew. Big respect goes out to the whole team for all their great work putting together one of Melbourne's best monthly parties for the last 10 or so years. Thanks for having me back on board I had a blast. From memory I believe this was the first time I've played a Tech set for them as opposed to Psytrance so I tried really hard to make sure it was a good one. Starting at 12am, I kicked of at 126bpm before slowly taking it up a few notches over the following 90 minutes. I aimed to play a fairly driving set, including a few slightly melodic gems along the way to keep it interesting. When ever i play Techno I really try to layer the tracks as much as possible to create new original soundscapes. You can expect lots of long extended mixes with clever EQ'ing used to control the tension and vibe's of the set. I threw in as many Cut'z, FX and Delay tricks as I could while still trying to keep the mix flowing and really clean. All in all I'm happy with how it sounded and It was great to see the place jumping. Massive High 5's go out to everyone in attendance. If you never been to the Big Red Bus or aren't a regular visitor I highly recommend getting down there on a monthly basis as it's always a killer night.
