The news that the world’s largest, and arguably most prestigious, history museum was robbed made global headlines. It’s no wonder. It’s home to, among other precious artefacts, the Rosetta Stone. As in, the stone that was originally discovered by Napoleon’s soldiers, and later taught the world, for the first time, how to read Egyptian hieroglyphs. So, just what was stolen? And how?
