Episode 9: OPEN UP THE PROTESTS

We typically open up the pit around here but we are opening up the motherfuckin' protests this time around. The time for change is here and we have to keep this moment at the forefront of discussions. The ladies of The Moshpit get into how the scene is responding to support the Black community right now. But the scene has to continue to make the effort of inclusivity beyond this so in an effort to move the conversation forward, Michelle, Bri, and Kelly get into some deep talks with Krystal McRae of Scenes from the Underground on racism in the pop punk scene. Now don't get it twisted. It's serious but we still have some laughs as is the Moshpit way. Throw on some checkered vans, pull on your band tees, and get ready to open the pit up. Join pop punk advocates, Michelle, Brianne, and Kelly, as they talk rock and all its subgenres. Whether it’s hyping up a new local pop punk band we found, throwing it back to the emo days of the 2000s, or venturing into some metalcore music that we don’t typically listen to, you’ll get your rock fix on The Moshpit. But mostly, we’ll talk about All Time Low. Now put your fists in the air and stick those pinkies out because this show is too much rock for one hand.
