More and more women are diagnosed with GDM as the parameters changed to being narrower a few years ago, leading to an increase in induction rates due to the fear of big babies. Tierney wouldn’t have it. She did a lot of research and stood her ground and ended up having an empowering and positive natural birth experience at over 41 weeks gestation.
