Josie shares her Natural Induction Techniques that helped Her Body ripen for Labour

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Josie Josie is a mother of two boys from the northers rivers, Australia. She is a visionary goddess artist and the creator of clay priestess sculpture workshops. Josie is also a vocalist in a roots reggae band with her husband, called Lionheart Rebellion. In this episode of The Natural Birth Podcast we will hear about the birth of her two sons Jalahyn - which means rainbow in the indigenous dialect of the aboriginal people where he was born, and Kiama - which means great spirit in another dialect.  The birth of Jalahyn had to be an induction due to pre-eclamsia, however Josie tried some effective natural techniques to ripen her body which helped her to arrive to the hospital already at 3cm which is amazing considering she was a first time mumma getting induced. For her second baby Kiama Josie chose a lay midwife to assist her at home and had her long sought after natural home birth. Curious about Josie?
