A big part of getting over this is in my experiences learning how to allow ourselves to make mistakes sometimes.  My view is taken from the work of Carol Dwek who pioneered the idea of having a growth mindset or fixed mindset. Struggling with OCD is very much about being caught up in a fixed mindset and learning how to loosen that up can be incredibly helpful. I hope you enjoy :)   Disclaimer: Robert James Pizey (of Robert James Coaching) is not a medical professional and is also not providing therapy or medical treatment.
