Day 238 | Evil King Ahaz rules in Judah | 2 Corinthians: An Introduction
Day 238 of the One Year Audio Bible Experience. Uzziah becomes a strong king but gets proud and tries to burn incense in the temple, leading to leprosy. His son Jotham does well but doesn't remove the high places. Ahaz, Jotham's son, goes full-on evil, worshipping idols and even sacrificing his own child, causing Judah's defeat by enemies. In 2 Corinthians, Paul greets the Corinthians and talks about God being the source of all comfort. He shares how he faced troubles in Asia but was comforted by God. Paul urges the Corinthians to pray for him and reassures them that their prayers help during his hardships.
