[party in my plants] 104. Balance Your Blood Sugar, Balance Your Hormones & Say Bye to Periods From Hell with Magdalena Wszelaki
My guest today knows first hand, and with her other hand too, just how much a personal crisis can be a catalyst for dramatic self and health discovery. Magdalena Wszelaki’s journey with hormone imbalance began with a diagnosis of Graves’ Disease, Hashimoto’s and Adrenal Fatigue. Yuck. 10 years later, doctors diagnosed her with Estrogen Dominance and a dangerously high level of heavy metal toxicity. Not fun. Magdalena Fed up with doctors who wrote her conditions off with a laundry list of pharmaceuticals, Magdalena left her career in advertising to focus full-time on understanding her body, her relationship to food, and develop a new way of eating that would repair and keep her hormones working smoothly. Now she is a holistic health coach who works with women to help them understand their health and get nice and comfy on their paths to wellness.
