An arguments (at least in philosophy) is giving reasons for a conclusion. It isn't about "fighting" with people or getting into emotional disagreements. Philosophical arguments, then, shouldn't be avoided, but rather, encouraged! So in this episode, Pat talks about how to have a good argument.
