Frank D Murphy on Sacrifice and Second Chances

What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail? For many of us there will be or have been cross-roads in our lives where we will get to choose a direction that could forever impact the trajectory of our lives! The question is, will we be swayed by the culture or things we’re surrounded by or press in to get the bigger picture and purpose over our lives from God? On today’s show I had the honor of sitting down with Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer wide receiver, Frank D. Murphy. Having been through so much life and lessons learned he shares his testimony the highs and lows of a journey that unfortunately had him in some pretty rough places and yet STILL was given opportunities to succeed and ultimately walk into real purpose beyond what he thought possible, all because of some incredible second chances and faith filled people God strategically used in his life along the way. We talk about limiting beliefs, fake IDs, purpose, calling and more. In Frank’s ministry, he uses his football career to draw from, as he imparts lessons he’s learned in the NFL and along the way through programs, digital curriculums, Life coaching and speaking to help athletes and youth make better decisions. As founder of Mentoring with Purpose Charity, He’s been coaching all ages to be better leaders and role models in their locker rooms, their communities, and in their lives. Having received multiple awards from the Key to the City of Callahan. Florida, The Lifetime Achievement Award*recognizing his community service, Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero Award, and the Most Valuable Philanthropist in Sports Award. He holds an Honorary doctoring for humanitarians* degree AND has authored The Man Behind the Helmet, a real-life story of sacrifice and second chances.
