Putting needs into words, writing for joy, and getting in touch with our younger selves, with Sophie Caldecott

The first interview of The Places That Scare Us features the lovely Sophie Caldecott. Sophie is a multi-passionate writer, empathy-lover, and optimist (by choice), who lives in a cosy cottage on the edge of the moor in the South-West of England with her husband and daughters. We talk about learning to express our own needs, Sophie’s relationship with writing, creativity, and as a mother, as well as getting in touch with our younger selves.

Om Podcasten

This is a podcast about what it looks like to be in the middle of figuring it out. Brought to you by Kathryn Ho, coach for creatives, these are conversations for anyone who has fears and dreams, and is curious about how we create a life where we feel we truly belong. Join me and my guests as we explore their experiences of navigating change, uncertainty, doubt, and possibility – and the messy feelings we encounter along the way.
