What's the difference between a coach and a mentor? There's a huge difference! Coaches help you get from point A to point B. You know the outcome and the result you want, and a coach can work with you to get you that. A mentorship is a little bit different because what if you don't know what your point B is? What if you don't know what you're cooking? If you don't know what you're cooking, it's really difficult to know what ingredients you're gonna need! That's what a mentor guides you through - the discovery process of what you actually want to cook, that makes sense for YOU, and THEN aligning your ingredients. Sometimes we're fixated on or overwhelmed with all the possibilities of what we can cook, and in turn, we are paralyzed and don't make any choices. We stick to the regular options.
