Christmas Lectures: Is The Universe Designed? Part 02

The second episode of the Christmas Lectures series produced by The Royal Institution in 1991, featured my distinction between designed and “designoid” objects. Dogs and doves were brought into the studio and computer programs were used by my young audience members, to demonstrate the impact of natural and artificial selection over generations. An hour of open-eyed curiosity and discovery, this lecture uncovers the wonders of Darwinism, creation and nature.
