Laura's hospital induction to Freddie

At 28 weeks being told your baby is measuring at around the 3rd percentile isn't what anyone wants to hear..... and the size of her baby led Laura to being under the care of the SGA (small for gestational age) clinic. In this episode Laura shares with us her traumatic ectopic pregnancy in 2022 and then how she was very excited for birth when discovering she was pregnant again in 2023. Midway through her pregnancy the hypnobirthing course gave her and husband Matt some tools to use which proved useful for navigating the remainder of her pregnancy, birth (and for life with baby). With her membranes releasing at 36 weeks induction was scheduled for 37 weeks and is relatively smooth and quick. Laura shares with us the challenges of feeding a very small baby (2.3kg/5.07lbs) with a large tongue tie; all while keep a positive attitude about their situation.
