Feelings and emotions while two different things can be dibilitating if you don't focus on allowing yourself to feel them so you may process them.  Feelings can take on the illusion as facts but feelings are the perception of facts to the person having them.  Regardless of how painful they can be, labeling and processing them is how you release the hold that they have over you.
