Self-sabotage refers to the act of undermining one's own goals, desires, or well-being, often unconsciously. Although the specific reasons for self-sabotage can vary from person to person, there are several common underlying factors that contribute to this behavior: Fear of failure, low self-esteem, comfort zone, fear of success and unresolved psychology issues are the root to self-sabotage.  You don't have to pick one, it could be all of the above. It's important to note that self-sabotage is a complex behavior, and the reasons behind it can be deeply ingrained.
