007 - Ask a Ton of Questions

Today’s quick tip is: Ask as many question as you can to educate yourself, (but please, don’t be annoying)

Here are a few reasons why:

  1. You will Educate yourself and once you understand, you can take it to the next level
  2. Ask you supervisor, but also ask those in charge of any area of your club, like the 10 and under leader or the network or ask questions during presentations
  3. Watch webinars and ask questions live
  4. Go to popular social media sites (but be prepared for a lot of different answers here)
  5. Email me at ptmpodcast@usta.com and ask away.   I will answer of find and expert who can.
  6. Talk to other pros at tournaments of special events

There are endless ways, but by doing it the way David did (In the story at the beginning of the episode), the club knew who was ready to take over the directors position,

Bottom Line: Ask questions.  Most directors, head pros, supervisors should be happy to give you answers……… unless they have told you a few hundred times already……… and please do it with proper etiquette and  ……..Don’t be annoying

Good Luck and email me with any questions,
