Ahead of the 13th anniversary of River Song's first Doctor Who appearance on July 31st, we take a look back at the life and times (and spaces) of Alex Kingston's time-traveller and (sort of) companion to three Doctors. Bursting onto the scene for 2008's Silence in the Library as a character with a mysterious past and a connection to David Tennant's Tenth Doctor, River went on to be a mainstay of the Matt Smith era before apparently waving the series goodbye in 2015's The Husbands of River Song. But is that truly the end of the Doctor and River's love story, or could she be in for a reunion with Jodie Whittaker's Doctor? Only time will tell...
