Dark Matter Collective is a community organization group that raises awareness and organizes community events. They raise awareness on the issues of today, issues related to black people and other people of color, issues that negatively affect various intersectional groups. In this conversation, Allen talks with three members of Dark Matter Collective: Nicolette, Dyamond, and Sarah. They discuss their desire to remain anonymous at the early stages of the organization. They discuss the power and meaning that comes with protesting in the streets, the principles that guide their group, and the role that social media has played in this movement.
